Are you registered with the CQC (Care Quality Commission)?

Does Manorfield comply with all Care Quality Commission standards?

A.

Yes, we comply with all standards, and in some categories we even exceed the standards!

Q.

What happens if a Resident needs a Doctor?

A.

Our GP surgery is emailed weekly regarding our Residents, whereby we receive guidance, or a visit is arranged. For any urgent care, a telephone call is made to the GP surgery.

What happens if my relative becomes ill, and requires more care?

A.

It is rare for one of our Residents to be moved for this reason, since every effort is made to prevent this happening.

What do the fees include?

A.

All care, all meals and beverages, all laundry (except for dry cleaning), heating and lighting, plus all entertainment is all included within the fees paid.

Are there Staff on duty throughout the day and night?

A.

Yes, there is a full complement of staff scheduled 24 hours a day, seven days a week, year round.

Are Residents allowed to smoke in the Home?

A.

No, however smoking is permitted outside the building if required.

Does Manorfield cater for special, and individual dietary needs?

Yes, we try to meet all individual dietary, and cultural food requirements.

What are the fees for becoming a Resident?

Are Residents able to bring articles of furniture, and favourite, personal treasures with them?

A.

Absolutely they can, at Manorfield we actively encourage our Residents to personalise their rooms, and to make them their own.
